1. Introduction

Welcome to Tsavorite Tours Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Service govern the use of our website, booking platforms, and all travel-related services we provide. By booking a trip or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Our Services

Tsavorite Tours Ltd is a licensed tour operator specializing in customized safaris, holidays, and travel experiences across Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Zanzibar.

We act as a destination management company (DMC) — arranging accommodation, transport, activities, and related services through our trusted network of suppliers and partners.

3. Booking Policy

3.1 Reservation

A booking is confirmed once you have accepted a written quotation and paid the required deposit.

We will then issue a confirmation invoice that serves as a binding agreement between you and Tsavorite Tours Ltd.

3.2 Deposits & Payments

• A deposit of 30% of the total tour cost is required to confirm your booking.
• The balance (70%) must be paid at least 30 days before the start date of the tour.
• For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required upon confirmation.
• Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or secure online payment platform.

3.3 Pricing

All prices are quoted in USD (or Kenya Shillings upon request) and are subject to change due to currency fluctuations, park fee adjustments, or government tax revisions.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

4.1 Cancellation by the Client

If you must cancel your trip, written notification must be received by Tsavorite Tours Ltd.

Cancellation charges will apply as follows:

• More than 45 days before departure: Full refund less 10% handling fee
• 30–44 days before departure: 25% of total tour cost
• 15–29 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost
• 0–14 days before departure or no-show: 100% of total tour cost (no refund)

4.2 Cancellation by Tsavorite Tours

We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political instability, or insufficient participants. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or an alternative tour option of equal value.

5. Alterations & Itinerary Changes

While every effort is made to operate tours as planned, Tsavorite Tours Ltd reserves the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, or transportation due to weather, safety, or supplier availability.

Any changes will be communicated promptly, and we will offer equivalent alternatives without compromising quality.

6. Travel Insurance

All travelers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, trip cancellation, loss of baggage, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Tsavorite Tours Ltd will not be held responsible for costs arising from uninsured events.

7. Health, Safety & Conduct

• Clients must disclose any medical conditions or dietary requirements before travel.
• Tsavorite Tours Ltd and its partners maintain high safety standards but cannot be liable for accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during the trip.
• We reserve the right to remove any traveler whose behavior threatens the safety, enjoyment, or welfare of others.

8. Passports, Visas & Vaccinations

It is the traveler’s responsibility to ensure they possess valid passports, visas, and required vaccinations for all destinations.

We can provide guidance but cannot be held responsible for denied entry due to incomplete documentation.

9. Wildlife & Environment Policy

Tsavorite Tours Ltd upholds ethical and responsible tourism.

We discourage any activities that harm wildlife, nature, or local communities. Guests are expected to respect park rules, cultural norms, and environmental guidelines at all times.

10. Liability Disclaimer

Tsavorite Tours Ltd acts only as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport companies, and other service providers.

We shall not be liable for:

• Delays, cancellations, or changes caused by third-party providers
• Loss, injury, or damage to persons or property
• Force majeure events including war, strikes, pandemics, or natural disasters

Our liability, in any case, shall be limited to the amount paid to Tsavorite Tours Ltd for the specific service in question.

11. Complaints & Claims

Any complaints must be reported to your tour guide or our local representative immediately to allow for timely resolution.

If unresolved during travel, written claims must be submitted to Tsavorite Tours Ltd within 14 days after your tour for review.

12. Privacy Policy

All personal information collected during booking is handled securely and used solely for travel arrangements.

We do not share or sell client data to third parties, except as necessary to provide travel services.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
